Yunnan Pu-Erh - China

Bold, earthy, and steeped in tradition – a tea with a story.

Pu-Erh belongs to the family of post-fermented teas, whose leaves are moistened after drying to trigger an additional fermentation process. Traditionally, it was aged for years in cool cellars or buried underground to develop its distinctive character. Today, our quality is among the most popular worldwide. The dark to light brown leaves produce a robust, earthy-spicy flavour and, depending on steeping time, an earthy-woody aroma. Its deep red liquor completes the experience.

Brewing suggestion: 4–5 heaped teaspoons per litre, 100 °C, 1–5 minutes.
