Located in the scenic Pussellawa Valley on the road from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya, the historic Melfort Tea Estate has been producing fine teas since 1914. Since 2004, exceptional green teas made from pure China plants have been crafted here using state-of-the-art facilities. Our Melfort Special Green Tea features matte olive-green, coarse pearl leaves reminiscent of traditional Chinese artistry. The golden cup offers a fresh, fruity-spicy aroma and a strong, full-bodied flavour with a pleasant bite – a green tea to satisfy any connoisseur.
Brewing suggestion: 4–5 level teaspoons per litre, 75–80 °C, 2–3 minutes.
