Jasmine OP - China

Delicate, floral, and steeped in over a thousand years of tradition.

The base of this Chinese specialty is green tea, to which fresh jasmine blossoms are added during the drying process. Some blossoms are later removed, but in this blend many remain, giving an especially intense floral fragrance and flavour. This classic method of jasmine scenting has been used in China for more than a thousand years, and jasmine tea remains a beloved national drink enjoyed at any time of day.

Brewing suggestion: 4–5 heaped teaspoons per litre, 75–80 °C, 1–3 minutes.
